Traveller information

The three Cayman Islands – Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac – are beautiful golden isles tucked in between Cuba and Jamaica. A British overseas territory, the Cayman Islands are often portrayed in the media as a resting spot for the world’s wealthiest. However, in reality, the isles are rich with Caribbean culture, sparkling white beaches and rampant wildlife. Each island offers something different, from cosmopolitan nightlife and cocktails to sun-soaked seclusion and off-the-track exploration.

Grand Cayman is the largest of the island and is best known for its beach resorts and activities, including a range of spectacular snorkelling sites. Top destinations include Stingray City for adventure sports and Seven Mile Beach for relaxing on the sand with periodic dips in the warm Caribbean sea. Little Cayman is the smallest island and home to the most varied wildlife, including red-footed boobies and rock iguanas, plus the soft-sand beach of Point O’ Sand. Finally, the island of Cayman Brac is known for its impressive cliff bluff which is riddled with caves. Expect more outdoor adventure, including unique dive sites and clifftop rambles.
